Notes

Medium range wide-body airliner. In service since 1980. Soviet Unions first wide-body airliner and model with underwing engines. Production ceased in 1994 after 107 aircraft were built. In 1999 approx. 90 remain in service, all with Russian and CIS operators (one by Chinese Airline). Planned CFM re-engined version has been delayed indefinitely.
